ah, good find. There is no mention of price, but I am sure it would be priced below Apple's iPod. I also do not hear a lot good or bad things about iRivers large capacity MP3 players which makes me wonder if people are even purchasing them.

I am going to get an iHP-120, but I need to get my xbox addiction under control first. Every time I have a few dollars saved towards to iRiver, something else catches my interest.

I will probably get one once they are under $300USD. Should be in a few months time, I hope

What about the new Apple Mini-iPod that was just introduced? This looks like a pretty killer MP3 player and should be priced pretty low. http://news.designtechnica.com/article2315.html

I kind of think its overpriced, but at least its below $300

I've got my eye on the iHP-100 (10GB ver). It's at $299 right now (iHP-120 seems to be at $399).
I sure hope the price drops some, but I don't see it dropping much.

The IHP-140 is available for ~ $460 shipped - check pricegrabber. I'm on the fence vs. the 120... it's just so damn sexy.

Do you really think you need all of that extra space? I would go for the 10-20GB player personally. I have a Maxtor 300GB external drive I use for my movies and music, than I just transfer everything over that I need. What happens if you have your entire music collection on one of these players and it crashes? Or you drop it and it stops working?
