Creative warrenty

Someone brought this up on another site. Anyone find it insulting that Creative offers a 3 month warrenty? I think it's like saying, "Eh, good luck!"

Creative is not alone on this, unfortunately. :(

RIO is another example.

If you do some research, you'l find out that a 90 days warranty is becoming quite popular among major MP3 player manufacturers. I can only wonder why.

yeah, I noticed that right after I posted. Apple and iRiver have 1 year warranties, though. So I guess I'm getting an iPod or iRiver next time I feel the need to upgrade.
