iriver120 owners, can u guys explain how to u the optical in and out correctly. also does any setting beside changing the system to external mic have to be changed when recording from lets say a portable cd player?

LOWER the VOLUME on the item to send, and Lower the MIC input... ONLY raise 1 of them, TRY NOT to go over half volume on either. THEY are both powered inputs.

Dont know about the optical puts.
