It is clear that Gateway did their homework with this product as it is well executed. Unfortunately the limiting factor is the Windows Media Center operating system.
The 901x has both Digital optical in/out, firewire, usb, and a fold down face plate in the front that hides S-video and RCA inputs, FireWire, USB, and a 6-in-1 media card reader, perfect for multimedia products.
The downside I am finding is that the picture looks absolutely terrible on my Mitsubish 55" 16:9 HDTV bigscreen. The font is way too small and blurry to read.
