I'm trying to crack my BIOS password, but to do that, I first need to know who makes the BIOS for the 200a5. I can't tell because when I boot up, all I can see is the VPR logo.
Also, does anyone know how to show the actual post screen instead of the logo?

Yes -- but unfortunately it's a BIOS setting that you change...
BTW, the BIOS is PhoenixBIOS Rev. BM1 Q0F0B
Good luck!

When you see the vpr matrix logo screen during boot, hit F2 repeatedly and you will get into the BIOS setup. You will see an option titled "Quiet Boot". Disable this and save with F10. You will now see the POST (Power On Self Test) results during boot.
Cheers.
ya, I hate quiet boots, I want to see it happen.
I showed a person about Dialup, that I WISH to hear the modem connect so I know its working, that its dialing, and connecting.
She found out why, after a long vacation. she shut down her ISP, and reconnected. she dialed and connected, but no hookup. told her to call ISP and make sure they got the Info right on her account. Yep, they messed her password.
same with current Cable modem, I love the lites, reminds me of old external modem. You can tell more if you can SEE it.
