Hi, New forum member here. Just a heads up on a new case design I'm working on with a company in AZ for Phillips hdd100/120 players. It will be made of neoprene and come in various colors. I'm soon to send them my own player so an exact pattern can be made the case will "fit like a glove". After that all future orders will use that pattern.
The case will have a flap to cover the entire front for protection which will velcro at the bottom and be fitted with 2 or 3 options for belt clip or belt loop. We have not decided whether the controls/screen cutout will be open or have a clear vinyl protective membrane. This may be optional too.
Please give feedback so I can measure interest. Who knows all of you may just like the little black bag that came with your HDD100 ;-)

As soon the prototype is finished I will post links of close up images of the case and ordering info. They will be $29.95

Here is an early prototype image of what it will look like with the player inside. Note the black flap is cut away to see the cutout
Later..

Hi!

I would love something like that, however, we would need some kind of scratch clear protection for the screen.

Also, can u pass-along to Philips our Firmware Bug-List in this forum? Thx!

Sorry to disappoint...I don't work for Phillips. I'm just a bloak who wants a nice case for his HDD100 since none exist that I know of.

I love the idea of a case. I still cannot believe that there is none available. The little bag is OK, however something with a belt clip is sorely needed. Please have a screen protector, however, not one that will "cling" and get that wet look that sometimes happens when plastic or vinyl clings to glass. This makes it difficult to view through. Thanks.

The Philips jukebox is far too beautiful to put in a blue case, it should reflect the design of the unit. ipod covers do this to a certain extent, just wish philips would enable a few add ons (and a louder headphone output.... bloody health and safety!!)

i am currently working on a case of my own. a better fitting case is needed and something to show off the elagance of the hdd120. the case it comes with just doest make the cut and their is no alternitive but to creat ones own. if you want a better case it looks like doing some hardcore sewing is in order. the philips hdd seems to be the black ipod, but severly lacking in proper acessories, this seems to be the major diffrence between the two.
