!!! HELP !!!!
Hello folks, Wondering if anyone out there can assist me with my installation problem.
I just got my unit, and have installed from the supplied Disk (or so it seems)....I am able to open all the programs it installed on the computer. My problem starts here: When I plug in the unit, it continues the installation (New Hardware found) until it asks me for a file - cannot find the 'ctpdusb.sys' file. Tells me something like the file is not found on the Creative Family Disk??????....yet, I was sent only one disk (only one exists according to the packaging list. Aborting the installation at that point causes the computer not to recognize the unit. I therefore cannot load anything into the unit. I have been talking to technos at Creative, but until now they cannot seem to resolve the issue.
Can anyone assist?

From my experience with setting up usb connections with cable modems on usb I have seen that the driver is to be loaded prior to the device being connected and then the pc knows the file to use and associates it. Now whether the driver is on that disk or not you may have to ask Creative.

what opreating system are you using ?

try to find if there any installation file on the disk prior to conecting the device you sould do a setup.

also see if your USB device is well configured.

Have you done a search on YOUR system and then the CD install disk. If its not compressed you may find it.
COPY it to the location its looking into...
