Hello everyone,
Lately I've been having all kinds of trouble with my PC. My system is sometimes nearly brought to a halt-- the usual suspects I suppose (spyware, adware, trojans, etc.). Anyway, I've got some specific problems I'd like to explain and if anyone has any information or possible solutions to give I'd be really grateful.
First of all, My Roxio Easy CD Creator has stopped working. It will usually burn a CD about 50% but then will shut off, saying that the application has encountered a problem and must be ended. Could spyware or trojans be interfering with its operation?
Secondly, in the system tray on the far right of the Start Toolbar, the word "Address" has appeared immediately to the left of the system icons. What could have done this?
And finally, every single time I try to shut down my computer, it brings up a prompt telling me that a program called "O" (not sure if it's the number or the letter) is not responding and of course it must be ended for the computer to successfully shut down. This program does not show up under the active processes list on the Task Manager, however. What can I do?
Well, thanks for your time.
I'd like to conclude with a short message to all the makers of adware, spyware, and viruses: If there is a Hell, I hope you bastards are at the top of Satan's MOST WANTED.
