Does anyone know why I cannot load 2 of my mp3s onto my hdd120? I ripped a cd with 'Buzzsaw 3.1' and the rest of the tracks of the cd loaded fine but 2 seperate mp3s from 2 seperate and otherwise useable albums got an error message simply stating 'the file cannot be transferred'.

Also, how can I get the songs to be in the right order? one album is right, one is backwards, a few have a few songs in the right order...

ps- the tracks that wont load are andy warhol by david bowie and try some buy some by david bowie(george harrison cover, ya i know). and they play fine in media player so theyre not corrupt or anything...

1. what prog are you using to copy to Player, AND version Number.
2. are they copying it in MP3 format, a propritary format, or audio.

There should be a Playlist maker, that saves the order to Play. That OR you must record in the ORDER you wish them played.

another thing to think about:
Are you online when you try to copy these files, DONT BE. Theres a copy protection skeme that looks to see if you PAID for those recordings, If it cant find proof, it wont copy Them.

The program i'm using to copy to the player is the 'dmm' program from the philip site, version 2.0... Is there any 3rd party programs that can do the job?

Yes they're mp3 format.

The problem with the playlists is that on the player, there is a artists, and albums section, in the playlists section there can't be any sub playlists so i cant have a david bowie playlist and in it I have all the albums in playlists, i'd have to have a "david bowie - album name" playlist for each album.

I was just wondering if someone knew how to get the tracks to play from the first to the last in the original order?

As for the being online thing, why would it copy the other tracks of the same album but not transfer one track because it doesn't think I purchased it?

Its a trick.
It would be on a rating system of how poular the song was, and which were registered, as NON copy.

But, true, it should copy it.
I dont know how it copied all the files but that one, in Alpha order, copy order, or what. It may be based on RAM. It filled ram(?) or a storage location to max and then Filled the recorder. It may order it as it Filled the Storage.

Mostly, Im holding this thread, so that some that has used this device will come in and answer you.(maybe)
I dont have the hardware or software.

Check the file id3 tags for strange or illegal characters in the fields or all alpha characters in the track # field. Otherwise try re-rip 'em.
