At this point, are 64 bit athlon or pentium processors worth paying that much money for; as I was considering building a new computer. If not, what would be the most cost-effective high-end mobo/cpu combo I could get?
Also, as I was removing a Socket-a processor, I accidentally chipped off part of one of the plastic grooves that holds it in place, making it impossible to mount a processor on it (it won't hold it in place). Is there any way to fix that?
