How to get rid of Kazaa Spyware

This parasite will be installed along with Kazaa without them telling you about it. It is also bundled along with the FavoriteMan parasite. It will download advertising when you visit a new website. It then displays the advertising as a pop-up or pop-under window. It monitors you while you surf to report information about you pertaining to certain shopping related websites.

Solution:
Ad/Remove Programs - This will leave your registry with extra information in it that wasn't there before the parasite was installed.

Regedit - Find

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run.
delete key called ClickThisButton

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\CTB_BrandedClient
delete all keys that begin with "'CtbClient', 'CtbSession', 'CtbShopper' or 'CtbXML'"

Delete CTB3_Shared from the Windows folder

Delete CTBHooks.dll from the system or system32 folder

kazaa sued kazaa lite out of existence. Do you know what the file name is? I think u can still find it on google.
