I had the same problem a few weeks ago, Did you try the link
http://toolbar.isearch.com/uninstall/
This link worked for me. I also installed Ad-Aware 6.0 and found a few more files from I Search in my registry which were deleted with Ad-Aware.

You also can try Windows Restore
Start/ Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
Set the computer back to a date before you got infected with ISearch.
If you still have problems you may want to wait for TecknoGeek, You may have to run hijackthis. and show him your results.
that isearch tool bar is a stupid piece of doo doo :( .......but .....all problems can be fixed....
the links to unistall it didn't work for me and i couldn't unistall it using ms/dos run function ......the only thing garented to work is that ad-ware 6.0 software its free and its great , i found other harmful things on my computer aswell.....thanx wannabe techie for your useful links to site :D

Hi Kris, Make sure you check your updates on Ad-Aware. They add new definitions all the time. I usually check them once a week.
You may also want to download this program called Spy Blaster. It actually blocks the hackers.

I've been getting alot less crap on my computer after installing this program..........Jim

Those programs won't catch spyware. You might have something and you don't know it.

Yea people came to the conclusion in the big thread that you should run adaware with updated definitions after you click on the link to make sure you have got rid of everything.

This is my first post here, i found this thread through a search for "how to get rid of isearch".......What a pain in the a**!!!! We had some friends staying with us whos son downloaded something that gave us this stupid isearch thing. Hubby spent about 2 hours tring to get rid of it with no avail, not to mentiong the last two days i have spent on it.
In any event i just wanted to send a big thanks to you all for the link, what a breeze that was and thank god i found this because hubby was about to dump the whole comp and reinstall everything, which would have meant 2 years worth the stuff GONE!!!
Thanks again,
Chacie
