Please help....
I ran the http://tomcoyote.com/hjt/
and i checked ALL of the log file, now i can't get the internet explorer to work.
PLEASE suggest what I can do

Everyone should be aware that when you use this program that you have the potential to cause problems with you system if you do not do it correctly. Here is a good example. Please be more careful next time and don't always assume the software is smart enough to be run by your grandparents.
How to fix this, lets see now. If you made a backup of the hijackthis changes than you should be able to undo what you have done. See this picture.

It is possible to relaod an older version of your registry if you backed it up before you made the changes (you can do this manually in regedit using the import/export feature) or you have a program that automatically makes the backups for you. See this program for an example of what could have saved you in this case.

The other option is to reinstall Internet Explorer. That should fix some of the problems. It might be more than just IE that you have caused problems with. Lets hope that reinstalling IE will fix it.

Hey if your using windows xp it has System Restore . I think you can restore your computer that way.

Thanks again for your great help! I aslo used ad-ware 6 and the CWShredder. Looks like it's working ok... for now. I'll check again tomorrow morning with the user and find out if it reverts back. If it does... I'll use the restore.
