I just decided to get a mint headphone amp to use with my Philips Hdd100. This little amp really does improve the sound from the Philips since it is already rather deficent in milliwatts. Although I still use the player without the amp when on the go, at home this gives a truely full sound to my hi-bitrate MP3s thru my Koss Portapros. A great addition!
I'm not plugging the site, but I got mine at www.headsave.com.

this device is still quite buggy that's for sure. the song title should scroll and when you switch from random to regular order the display doesn't announce the next song to be played correctly. furthermore i don't find a way to change the next title when in shuffle mode. i'm also dissapointed with the output power. 5 mW aint enough and no firmware update ever will fix this unfortunately. i start with firmware v6.6 and that stinky dmm v2.0. i want to copy my songs directly to the device! still im looking forward to new software releases and maybe some ohter programmer around to enable me doing this. what i do love is the looks. it really is a great looking little thingy! (got mine this morning, hence the enthusiasm) i'm not yet really positive about the recording qualities. the mic is awful but the analogue line in seems quite ok to me, although it requires a highly amplified input signal, which is bad. after all regarding the price i finally paid (~€260) it's still a very nice toy that might become really useful in combination with a good mic and a cheap little amp when i'm around;) vice versa that is...
