This is wild tangetn, they monitor everything also.

You need to run adaware, Spybot,
spyblaster, on your machine bad.

FIRST have you tried changing it in Options?? Go to the page you wish, then go to options and select CURRENT PAGE.

If this dont work, others will be by shortly...hang in there.

I ran adaware on my computer. Do I need to run anything else? I fixed the wild tangent and i changed my options on my internet page but the here4search.com keeps popping up. here's my newest log after running hijackthis.

Alright, I deleted the greg search and i also got spyblaster. Also, when i run adaware should i always quarantine the files that have been shown on the log file? are any of them important for my comp.? By the way...i want to thank you guys for helping me with this, i appreciate it soo much! I just get so frusterated...

Make sure all of Spyware Blasters protection is enabled and check for updates for it once every week or two.

I usually delete the files I find on Adaware. Alot of them are cookies.But if you see something thats associated with a program you installed you can put them on the ignore list. That happened to me the other day, but you can tell if you right click them and check the info on them. If they say cookie I just delete them.

I think it worked...On spyware blaster, i clicked on the "disable the IE homepage settings...".

I have a question...everytime i start my comp. it comes up with this ....
" Error loading c:\progra~1\Newdot~1\Newdot~1.DLL
The specified module could not be found"
Is this of any importance to my comp.? Can i restore it or make it not show up when i start up? :confused: I did not set any back-up because i didn't know at the time that it was important... :o
