If you are used to a regular PC and even have software, I would stick with the PC side. If you do not mind buying all new software, then try out the iBook, its a sweet little computer and once you get the hang of it, you will be more than happy.

Agree totally...

If you arent used to the Apple series computer, you may be disapointed.

Do you already have software?
And for which system?

I haven't used MAC before, and I don't have any softwave. I need to Laptop recently. Just want to try some new stuff. :)

I want to buy a sony laptop at first, but they are sky rocket. The price of the iBook seems more reasonable.

Thx for your advice

It looks like style is really important to you. Have you considered the Gateway 200XL? Thats what I have and its super stylish.

You are looking at buying a comp at twice the price, and then buy software that, for mac, is 1.5 times price for Intell.
Just for coolness?

Are you RICH??

You get what you BUY. And you should go with a company that is reputable.
There are lots oc scams on Ebay. And you wont always get what you want.

Not that its legal or you should download the software but there is a lot more hacked software that is for the windows platform than for apple.

If you want to do the right thing your gonna end up spending money either way. Dreamweaver is like another $700 .. Office $400 ..

I agree with Technogeek! Get a nice windows based laptop so you can NOT steal LOTS & LOTS of software for it!
