Little background information on my problem... I had mybar/my search bar downloaded on my machine and have removed all traces of it I could find on my computer but know I have this nasty webpage Hijacker that I can't seem to get rid of. I have run ad-aware 6.0 about 12 times each time it finds the settings that the Hijacker changes and puts them back to normal, but after a 5 minute wait or so the Hijacker has reset the settings. I am really fed up with this thing and am looking for some outside advice as to how to remove this start up page hijacker( it also has some pop ups). I have ran HijackThis and here are my results. Any help is much appreciated.

Well last night after closely examining my HijackThis log, I decided to go in for the kill. :) Finally in combination with CWShredder, Ad-aware 6.0, HijackThis, Norton SystemWorks, Spybot Search & Destroy, and my own manual searching through files I was able to remove the spyware/home page hijacker. I do believe it was an offspring/variant of CWS spyware and I think CWShredder was the prog that successfully found the .exe file. Well thanks for nothing! I am obviously just kidding the various posts also helped me to find different malicious files through comparison. Thanks a lot.

Everyones most likely on 4th of July holiday, Glad you got rid of your hijacker. Those R1s and R0s are most likely the culprit.Everything else on your log looks ok.

You may want to download this program. Its free, It blocks most Spyware.

Yeah well i deleted those R0's and R1's many times but they were spawn from a .exe file that CWShredder found. Also that ihjl.dll i believe was part of the problem. Going to download spyblaster now.

Be nice to TRACK this stuff to its originator, and TAG him.
Cant we disect the files and find WHERE they are being sent on the net?
Or even add a tracker to it, ourselves.
Millions of people would LOVE to sue him into the ground. They are making big buts with these progs.
