View Full Version : Anyone though about adding a computer to your car?

It would be cool to add a computer to your car as long as it didn't look gaudy or took up a lot of space.

I was thinking you could just add a laptop to your car, maybe slid it into an inconspicuous slot or something. Then you could listen to MP3's or more with it.

I think we have a couple threads like this around here somewhere. I remember debating form factors and stuff when I asked a question about which computer my friend would use to put in his car.

It wouldn't be too hard. The police already do this in their cars. All you would have to do is find a company that sells police equipment and get the computer rack that attaches to the dashboard, secure your laptop to the rack, and Voila!
