I have been thinking about getting one of these. Does anyone mind sharing their experiences with it?

They are pretty cool. I've only seen them here at work.

FYI, if those of you that want to try something else for your iPod other then iTunes, try out http://www.real.com/harmony/

It's beta, but very cool.

What other flaws besides the ones listed on the review does the iPod Mini have? I have a silver one myself, and I cannot find any problems whatsoever with it, besides that all these people ask me what it is and how "magical" it is, haha.

Eh...why use anything but iTunes?

Several reasons.

1) support for hundreds of devices
2) support for anything iTunes (music store, etc)
3) support for other music stores
4) support to move Real's music store content to your iPod.
5) able to playback any store (buymusic, iTunes, napster, etc) content through realplayer.
6) support to playback any quicktime/m4a/windows media content through realplayer.

1. If you have an iPod, why do you need support for other devices?
2. If you need support for iTMS, use iTunes!
3. iTunes has been rated the best music store, why would you bother using something else? ACC is a great codec, you can use it on 7 computers, burn unlimited CD's, etc.
4. Read above.
5. Read above.
6. Winamp is better for these things. RealPlayer, IMO, is slow and very noobish.

haha you got owned Dang. I kind of agree with extremePC man, so don't kill me. My systems have always been RealPlayer free if I can help it.

Haha, well I am a little biased I suppose, since I am a Mac-lover (but I use both Mac and PC daily, and own both), but to each his own :).
