HDD060 Problem

If I try playing a song longer than about 7:48 mins, my HDD060/05 turns itself off at this point. I have tried a number of firmware versions, including the latest 3.1.

The sleep timer is disabled and the auto shutdown is set to its maximum of 10 mins (although this isn't the cause as I've set it to all combinations with the same result).

My files are all ripped at WMA 192. If anyone can help me I'd be very grateful. Cheers.

Mmmm... I use only VBR MP3 (HDD060/00), but I have some tracks larger than that 7:48 limit (some may reach 10 or even 15 min) and found no problem. Maybe, there is some limit in the WMA decoder, the way it manages the buffer or something like this

...aka "bug".

A desperate way to override that is to split your larger WMAs in parts smaller than 7:48. Awful, isn't it? :(
