I've only just had a quick go of this, but it seems fantastic!
My major problem with DMM was its tendancy to change track info from the tag, such as genre and album name. Although I did change the tags in WMP. Did anyone else have this problem, and does 'tool fix it?
Cheers,
Paul

I'm pretty sure he means making hddtool automatically make a playlist on hdd of a folders contents when you transfer a folder to the hdd. That would be a pretty nice feature.

hi,
in the next release of HDDTool it will be possible to automatically generate a playlist for each folder transferred to HDD; i hope this will reply to your needs :)

I think HDDTool is perfect as it is now, so I don't need any superlatives (is that english?) anymore
(although easy creation of playlists from within HDDTool would be nice... ;) )

Hi!
It would be great to be able to sync a folder with the hdd, because once you have all your music on the hdd, it takes plenty of time to look for the new music and add it via the hddtool.

HI there I just discovered your tool after being very unsuccessful with both Herebert and the DMM. My question is what does that mean to install from the root of the HDD? I downloaded into the Philips DMM folder on my hard drive but it still will not run. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

just copy hddtool.exe to the root of your HDD, so don't install it on your harddisk. You must run hddtool from the HDD itself.
