Since the beginning of time, the Predators, the feared, hulking alien game hunters, have come to Earth for one simple reason: to engage in a coming of age ritual. I'm sure it's gonna suck. How can it not. However, might as well spend a little more and see that kind of movie on the big screen, rather than waste $4 for the dvd rental at home (unless your home theater is pretty bada$$)

AVP really couldn't have been much better....It's been in the works ever since Predator 2 was released. It all started in Predator 2 when Danny Glover boards the Predator's ship. As he's looking around the ship, we happen to see the skull or head of, wait for it, an ALIEN hanging on the wall. This could very well be the best Vs. movie ever, which isn't saying much.

The sci-fi face-off Alien vs. Predator - targeted at young men - gobbledy-gored up an estimated $38.2 million as this weekend's new number one movie.

The sequel Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement - targeted at young girls - which had opened Wednesday, simpered to a second place $23 million Friday through Sunday, bringing its current gross to an estimated $37.2 million.

yes yes I saw it. And I liked it. Maybe because it was just the anticipation of having AvP finally come out.

Most of the story was explained fairly well and there was a decent amount of action. I honestly the movie could have used a bit more action, but I guess that is also restricted to the movie being rated PG-13 instead of rated R; which was a total shock to me.

But I do agree with what someone said earlier, it was probably one of the better "vs." movies thats out there.

If you ever had any interest in any of the predator or alien movies then definitely go see it.

That's cool... I mean Yu Gi Oh is kinda too new for me ... I still play Magic The Gathering on rare occaisions with co workers.

So where do you find people to play against? Your not hanging out at the local gradeschool are you?? .... lol

Yeah I do play Yu-Gi-Oh though. I've only been playing for about 3 months though...I started off just collecting the Japenase cards cause they looked awesome.

Then I started collecting the English cards. And since I had all these cards, I figured it would be cool to start playing. I did a lot of reading and research on different deck types and found one I really liked.

So I basically put that deck together piece by piece and it's been doing me good so far. I don't have the experience as all the veterans have, but I played in my first tournament last weekend and got 3rd place out of about 24ish.

I'm also invovled in this month long tournament and I'm 9-0 so far in that tournament :) Prettty happy with the way things have been going.

As far as Magic goes...I used to play, but haven't played since middle school. And I think the last set I remember using was maybe Chronicles? Now it seems like there is a few dozen expansion sets lol!

Don't expect the cards to hold their value .. It will reach a peak in popularity .. and thats when you should try and unload everything.

But anyways, I heard of some people playing Magic Online against other players. This was way after my time with Magic, I think it's a cool idea...but I guess it's still missing a few components when it comes to real life dueling (or whatever it was called in magic).

But you're right about the cards holding their value. Since I collect and organize my Yu-Gi-Oh sets, I keep up to date with the prices using an Inquest. So every other month or so I'll check on the Magic The Gathering prices and see what's changed. I'll also ask around and check on eBay too.

I think when I played Magic, I used a Mana Destruction deck. But yeah, it's all Yu-Gi-oh now lol

naaa, Haven't tried'em yet. I've seen a lot of people playing Dragon Ball Z, that Marvel VS game, and some Yu Yu ______ game lol.

Saw this movie over the weekend. Awsome special effects and pretty good Alien Vs. Predator fight scenes. The plot sucked bad and the directing was pretty bad too. Basically it is a brainless movie. Ridley Scott would be seriously dissapointed, thats for sure.
