I need help with my ipod

I just got an ipod and i have a question. I have downloaded music from limewire onto Windows Media Player. Can i transfer that music from Windows Media to the ipod for free? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't think you can use the Windows Media player software to transfer the music to your iPod. You will probably have to download Apple iTunes and use that. I am not sure though.

I dont think iTunes supports windows media transfers to the iPod. However, you can use the latest RealPlayer to do it.

everything's competing, espcially formats and DRM formats. the only thing that is truely universal at the moment is good ol MP3. WMA is pretty much universal except for on iPod.

I mean so that you could use OTHER progs to transfer the data to the unit.
Its getting to be so you cant use ANY hard ware with ANY software.
