Has anyone ever used a usb-rs232(serial port)adapter? I have recently gotten anew laptop and it does not have a serial port on it. Where i work i have to manage Cisco routers and I loved being able to just plug in my laptop via null modem and go but this new beast leaves me with an interesting problem. Is there even usb-rs232 adapter and how well do they work? If not does any one still make pcmcia-serial adapters? Any help would be appreciated.
