Hi There,
I have come across a very cheap, but perfectly legitimate HDD100 at PC in in Britain. the unit was ex-display and as part of the security measures in PC World they had glued one of these senor thingies across the serial number (or at least I think this is why the indentation on the back of the unit which looks like it might have a serial number sticker in it is empty). Unfortunately the unit is now not working and the Philips agent here in Denmark refuses to repair the unit because it does not have a serial number on the unit itself. They have agreed to repair if I supply them with a serial number, so can you help with one? Alternatively, if there IS no serial number on the unit, can you let me know?
