Digital camara

I have a Gateway DV-S20 digital MPEG4 camcorder that came with Photo Suite 4 disc.When I try to get started to retreive my pictures it says looking for camara and all it dose is keeps searching. HELP

1. WHICH OS are you running...
2. HOW are you connected, I think USB...
3. Installed drivers, did you go to there site and GET the latest ones. If they have them.
