Its a foot hold.
If they can get 1 law enacted, they can Push for something thats ALMOST the same but different.
Then comes interpretation. If they can get them inforced 1 TIME, then we REALLY have a problem..

Its like one of the weapons LAWS...
It started as ..NO SWORDS in public... THEN no LONG knives, then NO KNIVES...Finally no Knives Longer then 2" blade for utility USE.

We are almost as domesticed as our Cattle.
Some RULES are so stupid, and COVER so much, and are regulated, and it COSTS ALOT.

How about this...In portland OR, there is a Steam plant down at the waterfront...
OLD buildings STILL use it, and its FREE HEAT. They use the steam for other purposes and the EXTRA is used to heat the buildings.
IF, the OLD steam registers are REMOVED for any reason, they CANT be RE-INSTALLED.
How about RESTORATION of OLD homes.. CANT make ANY upgrades EVEN to improve them.. If there are ANY changes, to NEWER TECH... Its no longer kept on the list and can be listed as CONDEMED...
