I heard it will be available for purchase tomorrow in the U.S. I checked ATT's website but did not find it there. Does anyone know which carrier will support this phone?

Where did you get that $300 price tag? Whats the retail price supposed to be? MSRP

unlocked looks expensive like more than $600.. who the fcuk buys something that costs that much.
the $300 I saw quoted on a few different sites, dunno if its true, but I dunno anyone who would buy a branded phone for more than that price, unless it was a PDA or summat

This site has the phone for almost $1000

Where have you found it? I might just buy it.

I know that some sites are selling the preproduction models right now for around $1500, which is probably what Ian has there. The price of those drop as the official phone gets closer to release. I would be surprised if this phone breaks $650 w/o a contract. Anything above that it would be considered luxury instead of geek chic.

sry for my absense - I've had the cold from hell ever since that fsckin meeting last week.

Welcome back bro!
Well I will be the first in line to buy this phone when its available from one of the major providers. I also have been thinking about the Motorola V505 or V600

Hello all.
I'm new here but not to the products availible out there in cellular. I am a Wireless rep and sell the top 3 companies phones.
I just earned enough points to win a free motorola V3 Razor and blue tooth headset. They say in their site that the actual retail value of the phone is 600.00 us and the headset is 100.00.
Though it is true that the unlocked phone without a carriers programming is around 1000.00 currently.
I will recieve my phone in about 8 weeks from now.
It is and I assure you the most elite phone availible currently. This contest was through Cingular and will be carried by them sometime around Christmas.

Yeah, I'm in the market for a new phone soon-ish. Soulreaver sounds on the mark from the recent news. ~$800 new w/o activation, $600 w/ activation (some places as low as $500). I'd say wait 3 months for Moto to launch a $100 mail in rebate like they do with other phones.

yo Ioman!
Dont go and buy the V600!!!!
If you do youll regret it I assure you!
the V600 was recalled and stopped being carried by Cingular and AT&T because of one of the Four of the Quad bands did not work in the midwest in the US. some sort of Defect as Far as ive been able to find out!
Also it has a pinkish backlight for the keypad. Unless you are a woman and like pink dont do it man! lol. omg:

Will this phone be exclusive to Cingular? I hope not. I've been tracking this phone's release for a while on the Moto' site, and can't wait to own one. I'm quite partial to Motorola phones, and I hope they release one for AT&T. If not, for me the MPX200 or 220 will suffice.

I'd be happy with my V400 if I could answer using the speakerphone without having to open the damn phone and pressing a key first.

Yes the V3 will be availible in other companies than Cingular, though I suppose it will be availible through Cingular for the first few months.
As for the Mpx 220 it is a windows based phone that will rock the very foundations in current phone internet mixology! It will be exclusive through Best Buy, via Cingular for the first month and then through cingular only for 120 days and then released to the other companies.
Unfortunately the V400 is not capable of answering in speaker phone.

Hahahahahaha! Wow... $900... try ebay, I kinda doubt you'll get any bites here. Er... I didn't notice you saying the phone was unlocked? If it's not unlocked then it's DEFINATELY NOT worth $900.

Motorola V3 Razor! Great phone if bought on looks only BUT data transfer with bluetooth is minimal compatiable for Mac users BUT may vary with PC users. Generally, no objections to its data transfer over Bluetooth with Mac and vice-versa. GPRS connection over bluetooth connected to a Powerbook is without flaw BUT phonebook remains the same as the V600. The voice quailty is superb and no need to excuse yourself from a noisy crowd... You'll be pleased to hold a superb conversations in extreme conditions :) It is very pocket friendly :) I hope this information is useful and wish all potential buyers the best. Please do your due diligence when purchasing any product :) Feel free to ask any further questions regarding the Motorola Razor V3, Sony Ericsson K700i and or the Orange SPV C500. Thanks :)

I imported mine from Hong Kong for $769 US, including 2-Day Fed Ex.
So far, so good. I did have to uninstall and reinstall the Phone Tools software a couple of times to get it to work, but after you get familiar with it and explore a bit, it is actually a fun phone to own. When you buy the unlocked model as I did, you will have to call and get your browser configuration from your carrier (T-Mobile emailed it to me) and manually configure it, but once you do that and set your carrier's browser as the default, all will be well.
Downsides: The memory capacity is a bit small for such a pricey phone and the English-version users guide could be better. The phone may be a bit overwhelming at first, especially to those who are not "toy saavy."

:eww Not much for accessories for this sleak classy phone. I finally recieved my free V3 from the Motorola contest. I love the phone and am currently getting setup with sevice from Cingular/At@t. The screen on the phone is huge and has great rezilution but if it isnt looked at from straight on, looks crappy. Wish it wasnt directional..... :argue

I got to hold one in my hands the other week. It is sexy. I had to hide my lower half behind the counter, to avoid strange looks.

They're only $350 from ATT Wireless (Now Cingular). I just got one for free because my V600 broke and they gave me the choice of ordering a different phone, because they were out of stock...

For anyone who has this phone. How do the buttons feel? Can you feel where the metal is cut through? Is there rubber where the gaps are?
