Uhm The first series that I really watched over the Summer was Hellsing.
I went into the series not expecting much, but came out totally happy. It was only 13 episodes, and I hope they come out with a sequel or something of that nature.
Second, I read through the NEon Genesis manga series. Totally loved it. I think this is my favorite overall. I really want to watch the anime and see how it ends. The Manga only goes up to vol 8 (from what I've read) and I just want more.
Next, I watched FLame of Recca. Same deal as Hellsing, went into it not thinking too much of it. Finally around like episodes 3 or 4 I really got into it. It was a total of 42 episodes, but I really wish they took it to 45 or 46. So much more could have happened. But in the end, I loved the anime. The characters and plot were totally awesome.
And right now, I'm watching The Slayers, Magic Knight Rayearth, and Escaflowne.
Haven't finished all of the episodes of these animes, but I like them. The Slayers is just hilarious, Magic Knight sorta feels like traditional anime, and Escaflowne is amazing.
Right now, I'm on Disc 3 of The Slayers, Disc 2 of Magic Knight, and Disc 2 of Escaflowne

Hmm....I think I've seen "X" the movie...was it called like 1999/X or something?
It's about some boy who has powers...and then comes back to his home town?
If thats the anime, then I've seen it. It was really slow moving so I didn't watch the whole movie :(

So are you doing blockbuster thing or the other one ... Netflix

Well as of right now I'm riding out the end of my 30 day free trial from walmart.
Netflix seems to have a great selection of anime (over 600 titles I think?), but I might try blockbuster. Their selection shows over 300(?), and you get two free instore movie rentals a month. I thought that was pretty sweet.
Maybe I'll check out blockbuster for a month or two, and then move over to Netflix sinec they have a wider selection.
