Problem!!

Im not up on XP...
Heres the problem..

Windows startup warning of BOOT ERROR.
gives alternatives for SAFE start, tries and DIES.

NO Boot floppy.
she has Norton AV, but no emr disk...

Whats my options....Its a compac with 128 megs.

Are you making it as far as Windows or is it saying this as soon as you start the PC?

This is OLD...
She had a warrenty, 1 month left.
Made a few phone calls, and the DRIVE was dieing.
Got new drive, reformated, and reinstalled.

128 megs isnt enough for XP, it cache on the HD, so much that it MESSED the drive up.
