I use a txt program called UltraEdit in place of my notepad or wordpad. It is a simiple and fast utility that I like alot. You can also use it to program in because it has most of the language syntax built right in. While it lacks alot of features compared to a Word Proccessor or a Interface Development Enviroment it does an excellent job replacing the txt editors. Other key features are a spell checker, hex editor, editing directly from a ftp site and being able to build / compile programs if a ad-on is used.
If you know HTML and are looking for fasty utility to allow you to edit your blogs than this program would be for you. That is if you don't already have a totally web based system.
From time to time it is rather handy to capture txt to f ile using this program, rather than waiting for Word to load. Ioman should like the program cause the author has the same name as him. No really if you are into supporting small shareware programs than this is one that I think is worthy.
You can find the program here.

My reason for writing the post was actually not to inform you about the progam, but I actually had a problem that I was hoping that someone might be able to help with. I can't find where to make it so that the program doesn't always open full screen. It used to open in a sized window, but then I installed UE Make and now I can't get it to go back to normal.
