Its not a secret. Just a rarely known fact. A secret implies that its knownledge that people aren't supposed to know, well its not like NSA or CIA has deemed this to be Top Secret president's eye's only, rather people just don't seem that inclined to talk about these sort of details.

You say "they" but you should specify who because it wasn't like the entire country of Afganistan decided hey you know what would be a good idea is for us to plan some terrorist activities against this really powerful country on the other side of the world. It was a select group of Islamic Fundamentalist that planned this acivitiy out in secluded areas of a war torn land.

This current president doesn't seem to concerned about rebuilding jack squat he is more likely to invade the country and overthrow their political system because he was handed some "intelligence" on some foreign country's "threat level" to the US. I think one of two things are true, he lacks the cognitive ability ( he's a moron ) to decern the difference between speculation and credule evidence or his adgenda is tainted by corporate Oil & Gas / Car Industry interests. He lacks the true leadership to make what he calls "hard decisions" because he relies on what other people tell him. We need more of a visionary to revolutionize how things are done.
