I just used adaware/spybot to remove wild tangent, but every time I boot up, I get this:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v308/frostywilke/problem.jpg

It doesn't appear in the msconfig/startup menu, or the add/remove programs menu...

Any help would be appreciated.

whats happened, is that the prog was removed...BUT,
It may have been installed more then 1 time.
So inside the REG, there is still a hook to the program and it tries to RESTART it, but it aint there.

Wild tangent has an UNINSTALL... This is why I ask persons to go to ADD/REMOVE first.

FIND- Hijackthis, run it and POST what it says... It should have the HOOk listed.

I DO know that Spybot will remove it..

Ok, its not listed.

Going to need to use a reg edit or
If you are brave, a good reg fix.
Norton utilities has one, and it ASKS if you wish to fix it. I dont like AUTO fix.

If you use REGEDIT(on your system), just do a search for TANGENT, and delete any occurrance, should only be 1 or 2.
