Yesterday, I stumbled about this site of a local restaurant owner: http://opera-italiana.com/

It looks somehow familiar with this site's navigation heading. Just to let you know, maybe it's all ok but you never know...

Actually, it's not spam. He's right. The red bar graphic is ours, just re-colored to be red.

Thanks Dylan for the heads up. That's amazing you noticed something as subtle as that.

@Ioman
I will forget your first statement before your mind changed. No one is perfect. ;)

My question is: Have you eaten at this restaurant?

The last time I was in Germany I ate at an Italian restaurant in München and while the entree looked "Italienisch", my tastebuds screamed "Deutsch!". I imagine this was due to using German meats which have a unique flavor.
Are there good authentic Italian restaurants in Berlin? ... without the German flavor? I love a good Jägerschnitzel mit spätzle; but when eating Italian food, the food should taste Italian, damn it!
Tschüss!

Yes, there are some excellent italian restaurants in Berlin! Unfortunately, the above mentioned site belongs to one of the best of them. I've been there approximately five to six times and the food (especially all the hand-made pizzas from one of the two master bakers) was delicious!
And by reading the adress on their business card I was curious about their site. Many restaurants are in the need of a website. And then it would have been my turn to offer them a cheap, better and all-new one.

Oh, that's so funny...

eheh good find dylan. damn those turks :DWTF? Any problems with turks?
We have the greatest concentration of them here in Berlin after the Turkey, indeed. You could call it Little Istanbul, but what's wrong with them?

They could use a new one... or at least one that is complete. At least they're not hosted on Microsoft IIS...

They could use a new one... or at least one that is complete. Seems to me that this site is currently under development. After my first visit they added some pages... Total idiots.

ROFL. It is really old. I think I tried emailing them but never got a response back. Doesnt really matter since we've changed the site design.

BTW, there is a really excellent italian restaurant in Vientiane, Laos called L'Opera. Actually owned and run by an Italian family. It's pretty much across the street from Lao Plaza hotel if you ever find yourself in the capitol of Laos. They used to have a website, but I can't find it anymore. Here is a page with some pics/description at visit-laos.com (http://www.visit-laos.com/food/l_opera/l_opera_2.htm).
