Hi there everyone..
I just need a lil help..
This is my prob..
I have 2 hard drives on my windows xp pro system. they work fine..
Master setting is my Western Digital drive(80Gig)..
Slave is my Maxtor drive(60Gig)
Now.. I attached a screen shot of my device manager so u understand what Im saying :)... my WD drive is not dma enabled... I have no idea why.. I did the whole switch the PIO setting the DMA.. but I still have PIO mode as a current transfer mode.. while my Maxtor drive is DMA enabled...
My WD has my windows xp on it with programs..
Maxtor is there for added storage..
All I want help with is how to enable the DMA on my WD drive.
