file association

I have some appleworks documents that I want to open up in Word by just double clicking on them. Right now it tries to open up in Appleworks which I don't have anymore. I am running OS 9.2 Any advice would be great. I thought it was in the Get Info of the file where you did this but I couldn't find anything.

This is MAC?

I would open word and go to the file and tell it to open it. Much easier.

install appleworks and save them as different format . or see about opening them from word directly.
