i been using photoshop 1st time in like 3 years.. i have some questions cuz i need help which i hope you can answer..

1. when i try to put an image onto a background how can i resize the image according to my preference? cuz evrytime i drag the image to a background, the orginal size only appears.. i can change the opacity but as soon as i put it onto the bacground it goes back to the original size

2. why does the eraser not work 100% of the time?

Not sure what you mean by there...

1) When you paste, you automatically make a new layer, so you can't paste directly to the background. If the image size is too small, just select the area, then scale it. If it's too big, you can just opena a new doc (it'll be scaled to whatever is on the clipboard), paste teh image, resize, copy and paste into teh doc you are adding it to.

2) Check the brush size and opacity. On slower systems, it may take a sec for the effects to show.

Hope that helps.

Use Ctrl+T to resize layers easy.

What are your system spec's ? NK is probably right.

Ctrl+T? Man, I need to spend some quality time with PS. Why do I always do things the long way? lol

I remember using PS in high school, back when it was black and white only. I think it was 2.0 that brought sweet sweet color.... and the world was never the same.

oops, I had cntl-T.. now that doesn't make any sense :D

I got started with PS back in high school also. I tried to create my own panorama of a building but the the perspective distortion was too much to correct for in PS. Now they have automated tools to do that sort of thing !
