I wonder if NTFS read support is enabled in the generic kernel this time arround seeing as alot of people still dual boot. I am going to take it for granted theat mp3 support is not available out of the box but there is always a work arround for that.

the rpm is here
http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrpms/fedora/linux/2/xmms/xmms-mp3-1.2.10-2.2.p.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm
download it and (as root) type rpm -i xmms-mp3-1.2.10-2.2.p.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm

The apt-get way is listed on this page
http://www.fedora.us/wiki/FedoraHOWTO
and also tells you how to get and install apt-get
