Has anybody tried or know of these?
ATH-EQ33 (http://www.audiocubes.com/category/Earphones_Clip-ons/product/Audio-Technica_ATH-EQ33_Ear-Fitting_Headphones.html)
or
ATH-EQ88 (http://www.audiocubes.com/category/Earphones_Clip-ons/product/Audio-Technica_ATH-EQ88_Ear-Fitting_Headphones.html)
I looked around and it seems audio technica is affiliated with some pretty high end stuff, so I was wondering how their more affordable audio equipment fared..
Some reviews of their higher end stuff with similar looking features (i.e. the ear clips) tend to say they're pretty comfortable and their sound quality ain't bad either

IMHO, its best to give the MAKERS site as a link...
I cant find them..And this is ALL there products.. And yes they are HIGH END..
Could be knock-offs.

I've not really looked at the low-end of the Audio-Technica range (and the only Audio Technicas that I have now are the ATH-W2002 and the ATH-EM7). Prices are competitive in Japan, but for Audiocubes prices which are well above TSP in Japan and a bit above the MRP, you could probably buy something that sounds better for less from the likes of Koss if you're a US resident. Still, A-T does some very attractive looking and usable phones so it is about how much you're willing to pay for how they look.

hm...unfortunately audiocubes is the only place i can find that actually sells them to us residents, and it's true they are way overpriced on the site. Japanese prices for the EQ33's at Amazon japan are only about $10 :\ (EQ33 for $15, EQ88 for $25 MRP). Do you have any suggestions from Koss?
And for ECA, here are the manufacturer's pages for both:

I did visit the american site but i thought it was a different site since it looked totally unkept lol. Seems the american market doesn't have many of the headphones the japanese market does. The EQ33 and 88's are relatively new...actually..very new, as they were just released this month, this year (EQ88's on Nov 1, EQ33's on Nov 21).
i'll admit they do have an interesting and unique design and that's pretty much what attracted me to them in the first place lol
How are those EM7's? They look awesome, and the adjustable ear hanging is pretty cool. Most of the reviews give it a thumbs up too. Most of the complaints come from lack of bass, which is fine with me, since I'm not a huge fan of skull rattling bass, and don't expect headphones to reproduce that anyway...

I have heard good things about them as well.

The EM7's are OK at best. Lack of bass is a problem, but that doesn't bother me so much as the very closed-back sound (hollow sounding) although the soundstaging with 'etherial music' is good. The back isn't actually closed (vents around the sides) but I find it does a subtle sound blocking / anti-leakage when compared to phones which have vents facing directly outside (like the Koss KSC-35 or the Grado headphones).
In overall sound quality it's beaten by the Koss KSC-35 and the Sennheiser PX100. I use it sometimes because it allows me to hear everything around me while listening, hangs lightly and looks discreetly cool. The cable does suck... it starts fraying almost immediately after purchase around where you plug it in to the player / remote.
Once again it's about what premium you place on the looks, and I bought it just for that. In sound alone it's definitely not worth it.
