I love the idea of adding a media center extender to my media center PC, but do I have to choose Linksys? They make terrible products, are there any other options to choose from?

I like the way the HP extender looks, I would be more inclined to buy that over Linksys. Although it has me wondering, you think it could be a rebranded Linksys unit with the HP logo on it!?

$299 seems pretty expensive too, what do you think?

it does look like a rebranded one, mainly because of the circular controls in the center. $300 is pretty expensive. I think the xbox one is much cheaper
