Packard Bell is still around!?

Icrontic just reviewed this computer remote and while I was reading the review I noticed there was a Packard Bell logo on the remote. I thought Packard Bell was out of business? Whats up with this? BTW, the remote is ugly looking.

Yeah I thought they were gone too.....but now, I don't know whats going on.

I don't like the button placement on the top of the remote. Can't really read the text for the top buttons from the picture, but I couldn't imagine trying to differentiate between those buttons in dim lighting

This is a LEARNING remote. If you have the ORIGINAL remote, this LEARNS from that one, all the CODES. NEW and OLD codes, Codes that arent USED any more..

I noticed that too. I think in the US you need to be ISO 9000 certified and if I remember correctly Packard Bell never was, thus the use of proprietary parts (remember the soundcard/modem combo card?). Their designs still suck and look like crap in my opinion.
