DiVX/MPEG to DVD+R?

So I recently got my hands on a yet to be released software win Intervideo called WinDVD Creator (Packaged version). It is supposed to be able to take DiVX, Mpeg, Mpeg2, and AVI files and record them onto DVDs as movies.

This is great! However, the app hangs/crashes when its "making" the movie (creating the vob files).

Does anyone have any suggestions on all-in-one software for taking DiVX & MPEG2 files and recording them into DVD-Format dvd+r?

I have found Ulead DVD MovieFactory to work reasonably well; unfortunately, it won't handle Divx natively. So I just use Procoder to transcode to a DVD compliant MPEG2 format.

I would be interested in a single-step solution too.

Anyone?
