sorry if this is obvious - but i've seen this question asked loads but can't find an answer.

i want to be able to dowload to my ipod from my home pc and my work pc.

can this be done? surely you just load itunes onto each pc and then make import tunes manually?

if it can be done, can someone please set out (in simple terms) how you do this. every time i ask someone i know they tell me the second pc will delete all your tracks. must be a way around it?

thanks

That is true....if you load it to the second PC it will delete the tracks. I actually haven't tried it with my iPod yet, but a buddy of mine uses a program called "Copy Pod" to transfer his songs from one iPod to his other computers.

I think there is a registration fee, but it's definitely worth it :)

Ok got a quick update here.

It looks like winamp has a new plugin that will allow you to import your tunes from winamp onto another PC without any alterations problems on the iPod.

It's free. get it. :)
