It has no screen, but as Apple says, "Enjoy Uncertainty..." which is the dumbest thing ever.

iPodCity guy. Seriously. I'm not sure how the others feel about you basically getting free banner ad space on the forums, but at least put a link to DT on your site.

I'm a huge iPod fan....and I'm a huge fan of new products (lol)...but I just don't know about this new one.
Yes, the price is fairly reasonable, but like Archon said: "Enjoy Uncertainty..." is probably the dumbest thing ever.
ah well...people will buy it. As much as I don't like having a screen...I'll probably buy it lol!
They say that because they only have one mode from what I read: shuffle play. That would mean you are uncertain what you are going to play, and you dont need a screen because you can't go and play a particular track.

On the one hand I think it's the dumbest flash player ever. On the face of it, the Muvo N200/V200 seems to kill it stone dead.
But on the other hand, everything that Apple has done so far has worked out beautifully in terms of usability. I'm guessing that you won't know whether this works or not until you actually strap one on and go jogging. Or maybe, "think different" has taken a turn for the worse. I wanted a gig flash player so will wait for this to be available.
dang, there's a playlist mode accessible by a switch on the back. Sheez, do you guys do any research?

This is handy, I wish other companies would put a random play feature on their personal music devices. I've just been closing my eyes and dropping the needle carelessly on my phonograph for far too long.

this wouldn't be so bad if there was like an LCD remote or something to go along with it. But its pretty damn useless to me.

LOL, nope. I'm commenting purely on what I read real quick from the press release.
The price point is pretty nice for 1gb. MPIO has a new 1gb player out as well, which has a very small form factor. It's the FL300 (http://www.mpio.com/goods/fl300.php). It sells for $199 at www.buympio.com (http://www.buympio.com/Store.asp?m=mpio&n=10&k=132623&s=FL300+NEW+MODEL)
I got one of these @ CES from MPIO (128mg version.) I haven't tried it out yet, but the thing is TINY and looks good.

not liking it, good if you have lots of money to spend on 2 mp3 players, one for when u want to listen to a particular song, and the ipod suffle for when u dont care what u listen to. all in all i think its pretty crap!
