Lrya RD1028 deleting tracks

Hello all. I am looking to see if anyone can please help me. I have a Lyra RD1028. I am reading the instruction on how to delete a track. I must be doing something wrong. I can't get any to delete.

Is there anyone that can please help me. I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure if I understand the problem completly. The 1028 functions like a memory card, as soon as you access if (via usb) itll come up like a drive, from there you can just delete files. Maybe you're working through some software ( I would avoid musicmatch )

I finally figured it out. The directions stated to use the MP3 player itself to delete tracks. That did not work.

I finally went into the usb drive and pulled up the file through the hard drive. I deleted them as if it was just a file filled with documents.

Now the mp3 player is empty and my husband can now delete and add songs as necessary.
