Handycam Help!

I've recently bought a Sony DCR-DVD2001e. Does ANYONE know of a way to view what your recording on the monitor screen (thru the computer that is)? There seems to be NO way you can run the camera via the usb while it;s in Record Mode! :eww

This is SO Bloody annoying!!!

I only see 301, 201 and 101.

If you wanted to record from your computer why didn't you get a WebCam? Camcorders aren't meant to send their data directly to a computer screen. That is not how most of them are built. They are assuming that you want to record to the medium and then play back on some other device.

So you should get a different video camera if you want to record from the computer.
