This one looks like an adventure. We can try to fix it, It may take a while. If stuff keeps reloading may need to reinstall Windows. But we will cross that bridge when we come to it........Jim :eww

May want to reinstall Windows, this may be getting us nowhere, but we can try one more time.

ECA, the one you showed me is bad also.

vietazndragon00, You may want to print this out.May make it easier, dont know if it will work but we can try it.

What kind of folder is HijackThis in? It seems strange to me.

1.Can you make a new folder , Put the new folder on your desktop, Name the Folder HiJackThis

2. Download the stand-alone version of CWShredder

http://www.intermute.com/spysubtract/cwshredder_download.html

3. Download Hijack This again, Save it in the new folder on your desktop.

http://forums.designtechnica.com/showthread.php?t=5583

4. Go to Safe Mode (F8 on startup)

5. Delete this (Bold Part Only)

C:\DOCUME~1\ToMmY\LOCALS~1\Temp\Rar$EX00.312\Hijac kThis.exe

6. Run CW Shredder in Safe Mode Delete what it finds.

7.Still In Safe Mode Open up the new HijackThis(in the new folder) Place a check next to each of these and click Fix Checked.

FIND those files and THE directories there in...
ANYTHING else in the directories...

You have loaded a program,
Thet probably WONT run withOUT adverts...
You have to kill the PROGRAM, then KILL the adverts part..

done they are fix checked.btw pop-ups started again, when i open internet explorer for the first time after rebooting or turning my pc on,a pop-up comes.
also spybot:S&D always finds a thing called "DSO Exploit"(says that it is data source object exploit) as registry value changes total of 5.i delete them but they always come again.
now i have SpywareBlaster and i restricted everything in it.
one more thing;i am still downloading World of Warcraft and it always comes with a message says that i am behind a firewall which may decrease my download speeds.problem is I DONT HAVE A FIREWALL :eww ...
could it be something like windows firewall?(i have SP1)
and can i get some help about port-forwarding if you know?

and my new log:

Whare are you DL from...
MANY Dl sites use auto popups.. And High security on your system WONT let it happen, but also wont let the DL continue, as they WANT to place popups on your system...

So, your popup program AINT working...Then kill it..
I would SUGGEST, going to firefox, as an internet explorer..
It works VERY well, still wont do a few things, but has a GREAT popup blocker..

Try dumping flashget, and see what happens..

P2P, can be hacked Very easily.. esp if not passworded.. and changing the passwords ALL the time.

Online P2P, is even worse..You are giving access to your computer, to OTHERS you may not know.

setting it up, means,
LOCKING all directories that YOU DONT want them in.
Allowing access to the ONES you wish
Maybe even password that DIR.
Firewalls, so stuff isnt sent to it, you dont want, need, or dont know..
Running AV, and bot protection on the sections for EVERYTHING.
KNOWING WHO has access, and WHO IS accessing it.

Have you ever set up a REAL server...thats what you basically are doing.. and unless you protect yourself, you will have things installed you dont want/need/wish to even see. And you wont know what they are, until you RUN them...And if you run them, they can infect your machine..or even kill it.

I'LL add 1 thing...Im 45 and been dealing with comps for over 20 years, and have seen ALOT of virus, and bots...YOU dont want to see 1/2 the REALLY mean stuff...

jeez i didnt even think that it is that risky...anyway i had ZoneAlarmPro as firewall in use but when it was on,even my explorer didnt work.also my DL speed was down around 0,20Kb/s so i turned it off and uninstalled it.before uninstalling i saw a line in it and i was really shocked...
"17.500 intrusions has been blocked since install"
"the firewall has destroyed 17.500 attacks"(or something like that)
i used this firewall for only a week, maybe less.17.500 attempts in a week is a little much, isnt it?also i used this pc for 4-5 years without firewall or any protectives.
ah and my log...

hey i have a biiig problem now and i request help immediately.i cant install any games.for example need for speed underground.i start installing it,it comes to %53,to a file " MOVIES/blank.vp6 " and then it stops.no not freezing but it stops installing.i eject the cd,and insert cd2,open it through My Computer and i look in the MOVIES folder,i see the file : blank.vp6 there.the installation is not asking me to change the cd,and doesnt do anything when it is ejected.there is the same problem on Lord of the Rings:The Battle for Middle-Earth game.
could this be because of a file which u told me to delete?pls help T_T

Post a new log and lets see if i can see anything. That file I told you to delete reloaded after you deleted some of the other stuff. When it reloads its usually bad. It may be a virus or something.

I prefer to check the EASY stuff first..

At this point I would suggest contacting the Vendor, and ASK why..
SOME part of the software probably didnt REMOVE, and it Stopping the loading.

TRY erasing the DIR it created, and do again...Odds are, it wont work..
There is either someing in the REG, or a DLL in windows that didnt get erased..
OR it DONT like DX 9.0c, was it designed for a Lesser DX??

i tried installing all directX versions i have(many lessers),no changes.the software didnt remove itself?impossible cuz after uninstalling the games i told,i sent the pc to technical service and they formatted.is there a chance for it?
i tried to find its dir but no.and the reason to stop loading is that the file which is written on screen like:

Now Copying:%53
blablabla.vp6

and the blablabla.vp6 is on 2nd cd also these cds work in my friends pc.it is nearly same as mine

There may be a file that didn't uninstall when you Uninstalled the game which is causing the game not to reinstall. That happened to my dad on a program he was using.

Why did you uninstall the game in the first place?

ECA

They DIDNT format...
they LOADED OVER, what was already there..
If they did a FULL install, then they didnt do 1 thing...TOTAL UPDATE of the net..
Goto tools, windows update...Check..
If theres about 20 there, they DID a FULL format, and NO update.. UPDATE will take about 2 days of SITTING, and resets at HIGH SPEED.

If every thing is updated, and only about 5 updates there...They OVER wrote the system... It left alot of extra files on the system, IN THE WINDOWS DIR.. Program see's those, and WONT touch it..

when i used the windows u.dater (sorry i cant use the letter between o and q :D) it ran about 1 days, maybe more to u.date everything .ro.erly.and i checked the windows u.date there is only s.2 on u.date list.cuz i made all others before
and why the hell could be the .roblem with files?im telling you.if the .roblem was with these things about game's files, then it would give me a warning or sth.but no.it is not asking me for second cd!im not sure but u asked me to delete some windows files.could that be?

So, after they reinstalled your computer OS, you came here and we erased BOTS/virus..
I would think that after a full install there wouldnt be ANYTHING on it.. Even after a short run on the internet, I could be wrong.(probably am).

I would suggest you check for Windows update..

onurforever

windows update is done(except sp2 of course,it crashes my pc).still nothing changed.can you give me an advice on what to do?i can restore my pc to 9 july 2004.would you suggest it?

ECA
02-12-2005, 10:12 AM
you have THAT much in restore points WOW...
That REALLy means you aint formated the drive.

What machine do you have?? DELL, HP, COMPAQ??

I would suggest a FORMAT and reinstall... NOT install OVER whats THERE... It dont kill BAD stuff, or bad installations..

Only other options I have is to UPDATE your Video and Audio drivers, to DX 9+ ability..
