Which office chair manufacturer is the best? What brand do you guys like? I have tried Herman Miller and like their chairs a lot. I also like Kinnarps Office chairs a lot too.

I think some people are a little too high-brow for me around here :) personally, if the chair has arms and is reasonably comfortable, then its a win. Geez, who has $400 or more to blow on an office chair ??

Ya really that the

Herman Miller (http://www.hermanmiller.com/) site is cool if you can afford to blow 600-800 on a chair. Maybe you can pick up a used on on ebay for 400-500 like flashfire says.

I have seen good prices on floor model chairs at Best Buy. A leather/wood trimmed full back with all right levers for a very reasonable price ( I forget exactly ). I am sure that if you look around you will find something you like.

Do you really want to buy a chair or are you just trying to spawn lots of postings about stuff we are interested in ??

I am picking up a chair from Kinnarps tomorrow. http://www.kinnarpsusa.com .

On another note, I heard Herman Miller is struggling hard. You can find their chairs at Costco now.

Office chair??
Why... Do you LIVe in it as you do at home.
ANY chair over $100 that you cant sleep in is a waste.
If its for SHOW, as in a Big office, then all I want is over padding.
If you are sitting at a desk, all day, and just want a comforable Chair, get a High back contoured, with back, and hight adjustments.
HOw to make a cheap chair, expencive.. Change the Wheels, to stronger ones.

Personally I like the $19.95 special at Ikea. Birch wooden fold-up, hurts my tailbone ooh so good.

But in a perfect world, perhaps I would look at those bourgeois aristocratic manufacturers that charges a million dollars like kinnarps or herman miller or that other company from Minnesota.
