How do I make it so that MSN Messenger does not show up in my system tray at start up?

I tried going into me msconfig file and turning it off, but it is still showing up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the problem. You need to sign into the program which no one wants to do. Then you need to upgrade it to even get that option, then you have to uncheck that so it does not start up with Windows. What a pain in the ass.

Here is the solution to THAT.
GET a NEWER version. As the last 4 versions have this option.
And if you GOT it, why dont you WANT to sign in??
If you DONT want to sign in, ERASE IT, unload it, uninstall it...

Ack, nevermind. It doesn't work. MSN keeps coming up when Outlook is loaded. Looks like it is destined to be in my taskbar. Stupid thing. Now it signs me in everytime since it has my username. GRRRR
