I swear to god after i watched the grudge i hose my oants and not to mention there was luggage in the trunk. it really isn't horrific its just suspensful which makes it good

man, I saw this movie in the drive in...and honestly, I didn't pay attention to 90% of the movie. I guess just during the drive in you don't get a "feel" for the type of scene some movies (such as the grudge) are supposed to set.

Also it's hard to see some of the darker scenes in the drive in too. Definitely gonna rent this and rewatch it tho :)

the grudge is a loose remake of ju-on. i think it lacks a lot of the original's suspense.

ju-on 2 continues the story from ju-on in a standard linear fashion vs the time jumping of the first. ju-on 3 ('the grudge') is due out in 2006; should make for an interesting title swap when it/if it comes to america :)
